Centre for Community Energy Transformation (CCET) is a nonprofit that empowers Ontario's households and communities to take confident, informed action on energy efficiency and climate resilience.
We connect people to the programs, incentives, and professionals they need to make energy upgrades happen, and we make sure no community gets left behind.
We envision a future where every household and business in Ontario has access to honest, independent energy guidance. A future where making more homes and whole neighbourhoods efficient and comfortable is within reach for everyone, and no community gets left behind.
The Centre for Community Energy Transformation (CCET) is a nonprofit that launched in 2022 to be the go-to source of advice for anyone navigating the energy transition. We help everyone, including homeowners and businesses, to municipalities and utilities.
Our mission is to make the shift to cleaner, more affordable energy as simple as possible for everyone.
We connect people with the right information, trusted experts, and local partners to help make the energy transition easier. We're independent so we don't sell products, recommend specific contractors, or push certain technologies.
Ontario is one of the most diverse places in Canada, and that has shaped how we work.
Currently, we work in collaboration with Brampton, Mississauga, Caledon, and Peel Region, but, our goal is to grow our reach across Ontario, and beyond, because we're committed to making sure to help everyone through the energy transition, not just those who already know how to navigate the system.
No matter who you are or where you are, CCET is here for you.

Whether you want to collaborate, sponsor, or build something new together, we're always making space for partners moving the transition forward.
Our work is shaped by the partners who sit alongside us.
Community organizations who connect us to the households who need support most. Municipalities and utilities working toward shared climate goals. Industry organizations training the retrofit workforce. Funders making new programs possible.
Each partner brings something the work needs, and the table grows stronger every time someone new pulls up a chair.
If you see yourself in this work, at any scale, in any role, we'd love to hear from you.
Articles, guides, and trusted resources for homeowners, contractors, and anyone curious about energy retrofits, rebates, programs, and how to take part in the energy transition.
