WHAT WE OFFER

Home Energy Coaching

For homeowners who don't know where to start. Get a free 45 minute call with an energy expert for personalized advice on upgrades, rebates, and trusted contractors.

Most homeowners want to make their home more efficient but get stuck before they start. Renters are confused about how much control they have over their energy use and bills.

There are too many contractors, too many rebates, and too much conflicting advice.

Through the Home Energy Coaching Program, you'll get a free one on one call with an independent energy expert who walks you through your options based on your home, your budget, and your goals.

You leave the call with a clear path forward and confidence in your next step, without spending weeks researching something you shouldn't have to figure out on your own.

What you get access to:

  • A free 45 minute phone call with a certified energy coach

  • Personalized advice on upgrades like heat pumps, insulation, and water heaters

  • A clear view of which rebates and incentives apply to you

  • Guidance on finding trusted contractors and avoiding costly mistakes

  • No home visit required, no sales pitch, no pressure

WHAT WE OFFER

Energy Retrofit Assistance

For income qualified households. Get free coaching, a full home audit, and select upgrades like heat pumps and insulation.

Energy Retrofit Assistance (ERA) is a pilot program for income qualified Peel Region households living in homes that are too cold in winter, too hot in summer, and expensive to run.

Through ERA, qualifying households receive free energy coaching, a full home energy audit, and select upgrades at no cost, all delivered through community organizations you already know and trust.

You get a warmer, healthier, more affordable home without chasing paperwork, coordinating contractors, or figuring any of it out alone.

What you get access to:

  • Free energy coaching tailored to your household

  • A full EnerGuide home energy audit by a certified advisor

  • Select upgrades installed at no cost, which may include air source heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, insulation, air sealing, and programmable thermostats

  • Health and safety measures like CO2 monitors and mold mitigation recommendations

  • Application support and language assistance through partner community organizations

  • Coordination with existing programs like Enbridge Home Winterproofing and SaveOnEnergy so you get every benefit you're entitled to

WHAT WE OFFER

District Energy Partnerships

For municipalities, developers, and utilities ready to move community scale clean energy from concept to reality. We bring the relationships and roadmaps to get there.

District energy is community scale clean energy infrastructure that heats and cools multiple buildings through a shared network.

It's a proven path to affordable, low carbon neighbourhoods, but most projects stall between concept and construction because of financing gaps, policy barriers, and coordination challenges.

CCET exists to help our partners move past those barriers and get projects built.

Your organization gets to results faster than going it alone, and moves closer to a real, working model of community scale clean energy.

What you get access to:

  • Convening across municipalities, developers, utilities, and financing partners

  • Knowledge sharing from leading Canadian and international district energy projects

  • Support for business cases and feasibility studies

  • Roadmaps for policy, permitting, and financing pathways

  • Connection to the broader network of Peel Region climate and energy initiatives

WHAT WE OFFER

Workforce Development

The success of home energy retrofits depends on having a local workforce trained to install the right equipment the right way.

We connect students, newcomers, and professionals with post-secondary and industry training to build a skilled home energy retrofit workforce.

You build skills that are in growing demand, connect with programs that send you qualified leads, and help Peel Region households get upgrades that actually perform.

What you get access to:

  • Training on air source heat pump installation

  • Training for plumbers and electricians on heat pump water heaters

  • Sessions for EnerGuide assessors, builders, and realtors

  • Guidance on current retrofit programs and how to participate

  • Ongoing engagement with Peel Region's retrofit workforce
